“If I had to describe Mary in three words, I would say that she’s compassionate, caring, and an all around amazing person. She has been in my life since I was 5. She’s seen me grow up. Most teacher’s I’ve had, I’ve lost contact with, however, Mary has made it her goal to not only help me grow as a student, but as a person.
Mary became my tutor when I was in second or third grade at the time I had trouble reading to the point where I hardly knew the sounds letters made. After my time with Mary, I went from never reading, let alone finishing a book, to reading chapter books 24/7.
I am not sure if Mary really understands the impact she’s had on my life, but I am so incredibly thankful for her. She was able to take the one size fits all learning mold and change it to fit me and my needs. She made learning fun and exciting. There was never a dull moment with her."

I was always happy when I got to see Ms. Hilliard (Gipprich) because she taught in a very engaging way.
